Our Background

Vivien Zhang is a Carmel based designer of handcrafted upscale leather handbags as well as other small leather goods.  She is aspired by her background in textile design and interior design to make beautiful, practical, contemporary yet classic pieces that fit in her clients’ day-to-day lives with ease and elegance.

 

Each Vivien Z piece is made meticulously by hand with the finest leathers from Europe.  The refined colors of these fine materials coupled with her mastery of the color palette made it possible to create some of the most beautiful color combinations on her handbags.  It is her intent to make her creations lasting objects that will serve her clients well year after year.

 

Vivien also works with her clients personally to craft bespoke items for various functions and occasions.
